It has been a while!

Let me start with, WOW time flies! I am just getting logged in for the first time in a while and everybody is getting so big and growing up!

Yep they are mine! Love everyone of them!

Well Happy Hanks Easter!!
We colored Easter Eggs (48 of them by the way) and then had a HUGE dutch oven dinner in the back yard ( that Jamie is renovating) in the the new fire pit he put in for me!
We woke up to 4 inches of snow but that didnt scare us away no way!
It melted by dinner time, we had a easter egg hunt at the park across the street and had a fabulous family gathering! Stay tuned for some wonderful progress pictures on the back yard with a deadline of May 27th for Kalie graduation!! WOW just getting started with spring and summer and already filling up the calendar!!

Popcorn is popping on my Apricot Tree!!! I am so excited that means SPRING IS HERE!!! This is my favorite time of year!

I love this beautiful weather and to sit outside and think of all the beauty God has provided for me! This is what he said would be worth it!!

Happy Heart Day!!!

Well for Valentines Day Mom and Dad took us to Chili's for dinner and then to a movie, we seen From Paris with Love. It was a really good movie and a awesome dinner! It is good to get out now and then, Thanks Mom and Dad and Love you!!

Kami's 7th Birthday!

So Kami had a Birhday!! She turned 7 and we found out she has never had a Birthday party before!! So of course I go all out and we havea great one!!!
We had a Tinkerbell Party and had friends and family all come it was great!! She had 3 cakes!! Thats right 3 cakes, one for friends, one for family and of course one for her!!

Our New Home!!

Yep we did it!! We finally got in to our house after weeks of Me griping, complaining, finding papers and faxing over even our first borns we really did it!!

We signed on December 31st and started moving on January 1st! Like they say if you can survive a house purchase your marriage might stand a chance! Ok they dont really say that but for sure I felt it!!

When we moved in we had to immediately start on 2 more bedrooms for the girls downstairs and for the 1st 3 weeks in our home Kalie slept in the computer room and Kami slept in Colton's room with him (now if that wasnt a fight always waiting to happen), but with my dad, brother and Jamies friend Stuart we gotter done in 13 days and wow has it been peaceful ever since!!

Ok so December was really busy and it just kinda flew by!!! But lots of great things happened for us!! We had a fun Christmas and closed on our new house on New Years eve!!

It was a long adventure for us that at times we all didnt think we would make it! But we are in now and as soon as we can get rid of boxes we will be workin away on finishing our basement!

Goodbye Fall and Hello Winter!!!

Happy Thanksgiving all my friends and family!!

This image is the last for this year, now we welcome snow and Santa. I hope you all had the most thankful Thanksgiving and enjoyed those you love and care for!!

We started the closing on our house here in Lehi and all of us are very excited!! The kids are excited to have a new room, redecorate and play at the huge park right across the street!!! We hope to be in by Christmas and we are crossing our fingers that that will happen. This brings me to the next reason I wanted to get on my blog and keep in a sense my "journal".

I am Thankful for the love I have with my family, the freedom we have, the opportunity to be able to provide a home and all the needs that they acquire, and the knowledge to know that I am blessed for all that I have.

There is so many people who cannot provide and take care of there loved ones or thereselves, I hope and pray for anyone who may be in a hard time that they can find what they need to get them through. I try to remember everyday to be grateful everday for all the small things that I could and sometimes do take for granted.

Family FREEZING Photo's

So yep we finally got them done after all the talking, figuring, contemplating, deciding, schedule adjusting, and clothes deciding we actually got them done!!!

All the kids were fantastic (excuse all the little red noses) they held up well, all smiled like they should (after a couple bribes, threats and promises). It is funny how everybody smiles and looks so happy when we all know if you have ever done family pictures how crazy and sometimes catastrophic Family Picture day can be!

Lucky for us, this time was no different! Although all the kids are getting old enough that they are starting to get it, just going with the flow and makin Mom happy (remember kids Santa is watching)! This is a fun day for me cause now I can make my calendar for 2010!! So off to scrap I go and tell we meet again, smile and make the world smile with you!

p.s. Note to self~ Next time we do pictures they will be in like June so its not so cold!!

My little evil family on Halloween

So Jamie went hunting for Halloween this year. Kalie, Derek, Kearra, Kami, Colton and I all got dressed up and went to Casey's party! We went all out this year and had an awesome time. Had a crazy time at the party, went to trunker treat, trick or treated on main street in American Fork and then went Trick or Treating in the neighborhood! Needless to say we ended up with more candy than we know what to do with and then came home and cleaned up our flooded basement!! Now that is the next story!

So after trick or treating we came home to a flooded basement, we rolled up our pants and started cleaning, mopping, plunging, soaking and washing all of our mess up. Well the next morning it happend again!!!! SO we called a plumber and well now it will take a few months of fixing to get it all done. The problem is there is a tree in the back yard that is growing into our pipes underground!! Yes it is growing into our pipes under ground! Stay tuned for more pictures of the mess downstairs and the cleanup to follow!

So going back here just a little bit! School started in August and Kalie started 12th grade, Colton started 7th grade and Kambria started 1st grade. Yep 3 different schools (registration was fun) but thank heavens school is back in! Iam hoping for a good year for all of them and so far so good!

Dippin Apples

So here we are Dippin Apples! They were yummy but didnt turn out so good, couldnt get the caramel to stay on th apple! BUT we figured it out any way and turned the apple upside down and the caramel fell back onto the apple and we ate them!! Kami ate a whole bunch, well a few bites out of each one of them but she ate a whol bunch!! Fun Fall times at our house.

So to start My little girl (not really that little) turned 18 on Thursday the 22nd of October and boy can I tell you never thought the day would really be here! I have had her more than half my life and cant imagine the half I didnt have her in it. So for you here she is when she is one and 18! My life has been complete because of her. I love you Kalie!!
